Welcome to the Bear Necessities Community Art Project in Spokane, Washington. The Bear Necessities is an arts celebration and charity event benefiting our local Ronald McDonald House, which in turn provides the bare necessities to families with seriously ill children.

The campaign is a regional art project modeled after several successful fundraising initiatives in more than 40 cities around the country.

How does it work? Businesses and individual donors sponsor life-sized bear statues that will be painted by local artists and displayed throughout the Spokane area. The bears will be auctioned at a gala event this fall.
